Catch the Prank Callers As Soon As They Call You

Recently one of my friends was receiving annoying prank calls day and night. He was not able to give his 100% at the work place due to which he ultimately got fired from the job. This may happen with you also if you don’t take some serious step against the harassing prank calls. I don’t understand why people hesitate to take action against the prank calls. Earlier there were few options available. People normally use to lodge police complaints and the cops use to take several days for investigation. An alternative of hiring detectives was also available but this option was very much expensive. And even professional detectives used to take 1-2 days and let you know the details of the prank callers. It may interest you to know that prank callers can now be traced easily. You can yourself play the role of detective conveniently. It won’t cost you much and you will get detailed information within minutes.

If the number you are looking for is a land line number than you will easily get the details on various public phone directories like yellow and white pages. They are absolutely free but the problem is they offer limited information such as the name and address of the owner and nothing else. So if the matter is concerning prank calls then the free ones won’t serve your purpose at all.

As far as you are using the paid service of the reverse search directory you don’t have to worry even if the prank caller’s use blocked numbers to threaten you. Genuine reverse search websites are capable of unveiling the information of all kind of phone numbers. Here you get the detailed info which ranges from basic to personal about any phone number. You will come to know about the background of the prank caller such from where he is, who he is, what he is doing in life, whether he has any family, and various similar things.

Now, it is very easy to catch any prankster with the help of reverse phone search. To perform your search and to get the details about any prankster through his phone number containing area code (308)-868, click here.

Criminal Background Checks And Reverse Lookup – How They Are Used Together

Do you get calls from people you don’t know? Is that person you are talking to a legitimate salesperson or just a scam? If you want to find out more about the person on the other end of the line, a good backwards or a reverse phone search will give you the answers you need.

Using a good reverse phone lookup can help you stop problems before they start. You can trace back your phone calls to a person or to a business and find out if the person or a company is legitimate. It can give you an actual address of the caller and much more.

A decent reverse directory can also find out if the caller has a criminal background. It can also do a warrant search for you. How about a neighborhood search to ensure peace of mind when the kids are walking to a neighbor’s house a few blocks away? A reverse directory lookup can get you the information that you need to access your situation with that person or business. A good program can search for that unknown caller’s name, address and any history of a criminal background to protect yourself, family and your assets.

To find out and trace a phone number it is important to choose a reliable directory. A secure payment network, unlimited access, and a refund policy are important features to look for in your purchase.

So whether you are trying to find out information about a cell number or criminal background checks, a reverse lookup just might be what you are looking for.

Why don’t they just ban caller ID spoofing?

It is f***ing annoying when some a**hole calls you from a spoofed number, especially when you try to call back (to end communication) and find out that it is a FAKE number!! People that do this are SCUM and should be thrown into jail. Telemarketing, however large a business, should also be banned, along with spam email. They are more of a nusiance than useful ads for junk you don’t really need.

Everyone on the Y!A site who wants to know how to spoof a CID number has no real life and is probably making unscrupulous calls, trying to hide their tracks by spoofing their phone number. Some may say that CID spoofing is useful in some cases, but if they really thought about, there are alternatives. Plus, CID would become useless if everyone used CID spoofing technology! It’s a stupid idea!

If you really don’t want someone calling your mobile phone, don’t call them from it! Or leave a message/let them know that you would rather receive calls from them on your landline or office phone.

Send Calls Where They Belong

Sometimes you’ve got to get your calls to always jump into the right place without any involvement. Maybe you’ve got that guy who just won’t quit calling about problems you had nothing to do with. Or there’s a special client you want to make sure always gets handled by you personally. Or this one: with your new marketing campaign, you need all calls from Western United States to go to your Western Region sales rep at x805.

With AutoRoute from Virtual PBX, you can handle all the scenarios above and more. Virtual PBX monitors the caller ID of incoming calls and automatically routes the calls based on area code, area code + prefix, or the entire phone number. Consider AutoRoute to be the very first filter the calls go through before they even hear your welcome message.

You can have an unlimited set of entries in your AutoRoute list. Just log onto your account, jump over to the admin tab, and select AutoRoute from the left menu. You then create an entry with the caller ID that you want to look for. Here’s a few standard formats:

- No Caller ID: Obviously, calls without a caller ID. Like telemarketers. Just saying.
– 4 digits: 1 + 3-digit area code. Example: ‘1408? nixes calls from the San Jose, CA area.
– 7 digits: 1 + 3-digit area code + a complete prefix. Example: ‘1408567? for north San Jose.
– 11 digits: The whole thing. Get individual callers. Example: ‘14085556789?

Once a call comes in that matches one of your filters, the calls can be routed in one of six ways:

- Blocked: The caller will hear “This number is blocked”, then the system disconnects the call
– System Operator: Calls are sent directly to the system operator extension
– Extension: Calls are sent directly to the specified extension
– Extension Voicemail: Calls sent directly to specified extension’s voicemail box
– Extension Faxmail: Calls are sent directly to specified extension’s faxmail box; really effective if you receive a lot of faxes from the same sending fax machine
– ACD Queue: Calls are sent directly to the specified ACD Queue

The applications and uses for the AutoRoute feature are vast and many. It’s automatic routing without the caller having to press any buttons. Like we mentioned about, things like routing VIP customers directly to their account manager; routing inbound sales calls from across the country directly to the proper sales rep’s extension, blocking unwanted callers or telemarketers, or making sure your grandma always reaches you when she calls the business number instead of bothering the billing department.

With Virtual PBX’s AutoRoute feature, the routing of your inbound phone calls could be completely automated. And the best point of all is that it is free – it’s built into every Virtual PBX system. Free is good. Can’t beat free.

What do I do if they can’t let go of the past?

Okay here’s what’s up. I used to be friends with these two girls. Then on the last day of school [our school was closing down] one of them told my deepest secret, and i found out from another friend. Then i called her and told her off then everyone turned against ME. I didn’t really like them as friends anyway, they were fake. this was in June. Now it’s December. I don’t have any of their numbers anymore. I erased them from my life. I don’t call them or talk to them or bother them. The these two girls are calling my cell leaving messages. I know it’s them and it’s harrassment. But i also know if i accuse them with no proof they’ll say I’m harrasing them. See they’re punks they use *69 to block the caller ID and leave the messages. Now those lesbian h.o.e.s. keep leaving messages ever week or so playing songs then leaving messages that insult me. I would go to the cops, but if i accuse them, they’ll say i’m wrongfully accusing them and i KNOW IT’S THEM. What do I do?
And I’m not scared of those b.i.t.c.h.e.s. I refuse to change my number! I will not do that. and the only reason they had my number was from when we were friends!
And my parents already know. My dad said when he sees her dad he’s gonna tell him but my dad’s a punk plus i got no proof against them. AND I REFUSE TO CHANGE MY NUMBER BECASUE THAT’S THE PUNK A.S.S. WAY OUT!!! Plus it’ll make me look like a punk

What do you think? Please comment below to tell me.
