my phone line, is it possible? because i dont know whether their number is private or not. i dont have caller ID. i am not asking for the phone company to give me their number, just to block it.
it was not just a day, they’ve called weeks ago maybe 10 times. i just ignored it because they were children and i figured they’ll probably quit it by now.
opps edit: i meant>>>i dont need their number, just to have it blocked from my line.

Any ideas?

Well here’s how it starts I’m a senior in high school. When I was a freshman I met this guy at my school who was a junior. He didn’t act his age and was very annoying. He kept asking me out and I kept turning him down. He asked me to a dance so I finally decided to give him a chance. At the dance he was very quiet all he did was sit down, not be social able or anything. I mean everyone is different so I wasn’t going to be rude about it… he didn’t seem like my type so after that I didn’t really had no interest in him. He moved to Texas a couple months later and I never saw him after that. Around January of last year I got a random call from him and he was drunk as can be. He said “hey baby, I love you” and I said your drunk, I’m not your baby. Then he called me 3am in the morning that same day while I was sleeping and said thank god your up I wanted to hear your voice… I just said I’m tired I want to sleep and I hung up. I know I didn’t have to answer but being half awake you tend to not look at caller id. He started texting me after awhile I started to like him but the person I was starting to like was the person I thought he was. He moved back in my area “to be closer to me.” Once he was back we went on several dates but it took him 3 weeks to ask me out, I’m guessing he was nervous idk. My friends told me to give him a chance. We dated and he turned out to be this huge jerk. He always bossed me around and made me feel so small. He would make me feel so stupid sometimes. Then he would get in pointless arguments with random people like a manger at build-a-bear. He became this huge stalker, when I was leaving my house in the mornings for school he would park 3 houses down to watch me leave not thinking I would see, I sure did. I really thought that was creepy and how he followed me to the mall when I went with my friends. We saw him behind us then while in the mall he would run into us and be like I didn’t know your going to be here. He would blow me off for his friends all the time and I got tired of it and broke up with him. Sorry for this huge paragraph.

Well he started calling my phone and I didn’t know how to block him so I just turned it off. Then he started leaving threats on my answer machine. So I just went off and told him to leave me a lone and said some mean things that I feel bad for now. I called him a arrogant selfish… Mr. I think I’m always right ahole that I was never really attractive to I just thought he was nice at first. I also called him a moron and how I should of never given him a chance in the first place, the worst decision I ever done. I called him a loser and that I was glad I broke up with him. Also how he let his parents do everything for him when hes 20 years old and dropped out of school and doesn’t have a job. How he should stop acting like hes 14 and act more his age.

People want to be hurtful about not getting though, or apply pressure about getting things done today. Stop what you are doing and go look for my fax, check payments stacks for a check I mailed yesterday, etc.

Some body used my phone (ONCE!) to call a cell phone. Now that cell phone calls my house at 1:54 AM…. I need my sleep.
I tried to do CALL BLOCK which is supposed to be a feature on my AT&T phone service. But that gets me a message that I can not block that number??? When I call them they say they need a NAME of who the caller is? IT IS A NUMBER! Why does that service not work? Is there any way for me to block that caller? I can not block all un-identified caller because my own cell phone could not get through if I had an emergency.
To me the same ability that allows the number to show up on caller ID is all that the phone company needs to BLOCK these calls. Help some one tell me what to do to block ONE caller from a cell phone… forgive my irratic typing, i have had no sleep.
I have got caller rejection, caller ID and all of the premium services. That is why I am so frustrated when they (my phone service provider) claims they can not block a cell phone because they need a NAME. The service should block the number, everything else in this computerized world is based on numbers. I can not access my own phone account unless I give a list of numbers (my social security and others like birth date ect..) but when it comes to a logical use for numbers they can not do this??? I think it is BOGUS. They are probably coming out soon with a new charge for blocking these!

I have recently been getting a lot of harassing phone calls from someone. They have been blocking their caller ID information. I know that you can dial *67 first to block on a per-call basis. I just have a feeling that someone is calling me from their work phone and I was wondering if that was possible. I don’t know if you can dial *67, or if there is another means to do that, when you have to dial 9 for an outside line.

Any ideas?
